Daniel’s been to Israel 5 times and spent a year there studying abroad. He can’t leave the country without eating a delicious sabich sandwich (eggplant in pita), and his favorite spot to visit is the Central Galilee region! As he gets ready to lead his first HMI trip, he is most excited to experience Israel through the eyes of HMI couples, share in the nuance of the country, and rediscover the joy of traveling through the land, eating the food, and meeting the people.
