Introduction to Mussar: Jewish Learning with Rabbi Deborah Newbrun
First Class: Wednesday, February 7 at 7:00 pm via Zoom
Join HMI Rabbi Deborah Newbrun to learn the practice of Mussar, a Jewish ethical and spiritual movement that focuses on developing character traits and virtues. Rooted in Jewish teachings and texts, Mussar aims to guide individuals in cultivating personal character traits, fostering self-awareness, and enhancing ethical behavior.
Four sessions will be held on Zoom from 7:00-8:30 pm starting February 7 through March 20, with a final in-person Purim Costume Party to end the course on March 23.
