HMI is more than a trip, it’s about the journey. And your Jewish journey continues at home – whether in your community, with your HMI cohort, or at home with your partner. From Shabbat to other Jewish holidays, life-stage based programs and neighborhood meet-ups, our programs help you explore Jewish life with your Honeymoon Israel family. Don’t see a program in your city? Reach out to your local city staff for help finding what you need.

Tu B’Shvat “ShaBrunch” for HMI Colorado Families
Saturday, February 3 at 10:00 am
Merage & Allon Hillel Student Center (2390 S Race St, Denver, CO 80210)

Join HMI Colorado and Ekar Farm to learn about the importance of trees and participate in a family-friendly, educational, and hands-on Tu B’Shvat (New Year of the Trees) “ShaBrunch” (Shabbat + Brunch!)!

Becca Harley, Community Outreach and Programs Manager at Ekar Farm, will show you and your kiddo(s) how to start growing garden seedlings using egg cartons and tell you how you can transfer your seedlings once the weather warms up. This activity is well-suited for kids between 3-8 years old, but all kids are welcome. Please bring your own egg cartons – two per child participating in the activities!

Bagels, mimosas, mocktails, and other goodies will be provided.
