Today, meet Curtis Sechrist from #hmieastbay! “I love working for HMI because it’s a chance to have a direct part in building the HMI community I was adopted into.” Curtis’s first and only trip to Israel so far was his own transformational HMI trip as a participant, and he still dreams about that hummus! His favorite memory from his HMI trip was sitting by the Western Wall with his husband and celebrating Shabbat together. On his first trip as East Bay’s Director of Community Engagement, Curtis can’t wait to cheer you on as you climb Masada!
