HMI Atlanta: To Bris or Not to Bris (Virtual)

Whether or not to have a bris (a Jewish circumcision ceremony) can be a big decision. Dr. Jonathan Meisel, pediatric surgeon and mohel (the person who performs the bris), will share the differences between a Jewish ritual bris and a circumcision performed in a hospital. Rabbi Malka Packer-Monroe, director of 18Doors Atlanta, will explore why some families choose not to have a bris and share creative baby welcoming ceremonies and naming rituals.
