HMI Boston Charles River Tu B’Shvat Cleanup
Sunday, January 28 from 1:00-3:00 pm
Meet at the Embassy Theater Parking Lot (16 Pine Street, Waltham, MA, 02453)
Join the HMI Boston community in an afternoon of service inspired by Tu B’Shvat (the Jewish new year of trees) as we help clean up the woods along the Charles River in partnership with the Waltham Land Trust!
The holiday of Tu B’Shvat encourages us to be good stewards of our natural spaces and is traditionally celebrated by planting trees and connecting with nature. We’re privileged in the Boston area to have the Charles River as an amazing resource and ribbon of green, but it can always use a little extra love to keep clean!
After the cleanup, we’ll gather together at Bistro 781 in Waltham for drinks and appetizers!
