Today, meet Elana Pollack from #hmiatlanta! “I love working with HMI because I believe in the mission to build community and to find commonalities between couples and families that will keep people connected long after their initial trip. I think it’s so cool that HMI continues to look for ways to bring meaning to Jewish experiences that are custom fit to each family rather than ‘one size fits all.’” Elana has been to Israel 5 times so far, and her absolute favorite thing to eat there is schnitzel pita with chips! Each time she visits Israel, she loves wandering the shops of Tzfat and spending time in Jerusalem. She says it never gets old! Elana can’t wait to watch the couples experience Israel for the first time when she leads her first HMI trip as Atlanta’s new Director of Community Engagement in a few weeks.
