If you need support or would like to help those impacted, see our collection of resources from the Jewish community and the larger LA community. Jewish Federation LA

Jewish Federation LA – Wildfire Crisis Relief Resource Page
The Jewish community has mobilized to provide support in Los Angeles. Their resource page is a one-stop shop of all synagogues providing support or refuge, mental health support resources, financial resources, volunteer opportunities and more.

Community Call Line: 855-JFED-HLP
Caring for Jews in Need team is working to extend available services to anyone in the Jewish community who is feeling the weight of these tragic events. If you receive a call from someone who needs support, you may refer them to our Community Call Line at 855-JFED-HLP. Calls are monitored Monday – Thursday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM and Fridays from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. They will triage all calls so that those with the most urgent needs will be responded to first.

JFLA (Jewish Free Loan Association)
Offering emergency loans to all in need affected by LA wildfires related to housing, rental assistance, unexpected expenses, medical, dental and other emergencies. Apply immediately at jfla.org. Reminder: these loans are for folks who identify as Jewish AND those who do not.

Beit Tzedek Legal Services
They are working on creating a new FAQ for filing fire insurance claims. They will assist individuals, renters, and small businesses with subjects like relocation assistance, public assistance, and their legal rights. Contact Jenn Ayon at 661-425-9509.

Resource Drive at All Souls Parish Hall
Collecting items for community distribution; Gift cards, cash, new clothing (all sizes + genders), blankets, bedding, purses + wallets, backpacks + school supplies, diapers (all sizes!), strollers, tools, cleaning supplies. Call 626-282-5695 with any questions.

Housing Available in Orange County
A synagogue in Orange County has about a dozen people on standby who would be happy to open up their homes to couples or families. Text or call Rabbi Adam Greenwald (562-480-4368) who can connect you with a safe and smoke-free homestay in OC. Please indicate if you have a pet so they can place you appropriately.

Our Big Kitchen Los Angeles (OBKLA)
Hot Meals for Those in Need: If you or someone you know is in need of a hot meal, please contact them. They are providing freshly prepared meals to anyone affected by this emergency. For questions or to volunteer, please contact info@obkla.org.

JVS SoCal
Provides support to people who may have lost their jobs as well as businesses who may have been impacted and need support related to their employees. This can be done through their locations in Culver City, Patriotic Hall (for veterans), and in the Antelope Valley (Lancaster, Palmdale, Santa Clarita). Reach out directly by calling 323-761-8888.
