HMI Los Angeles: Kabbalat Shabbat, Picnic, and Schmooze

We’re excited to join IKAR for a Kabbalat Shabbat ceremony, picnic, and schmooze! Let’s enter Shabbat together with sweet, spirited Kabbalat Shabbat service in nature with the IKAR and HMI LA community. Join us for one portion or the whole evening!
Evening Schedule:
5:00 PM: Kids’ Activity & Family Picnic (Families with kids 0-4)
5:30 PM: Bite Size Service (Families with kids 0-4)
6:00 PM: IKAR BYO Picnic (Open to all ages)
6:45 PM: Kabbalat Shabbat Service (Open to all ages)
8:00 PM: TRIBE Dinner (Open to young adults in their 20s and 30s)
COVID-19 Rapid Tests and Vaccinations:
To ensure your health and safety, we’re requiring that all couples take a COVID-19 rapid test within a 4-hour window of the event. You’ll be able to show a picture of your test for admittance to the event. If you don’t have access to a rapid test, please message us at losangeles@honeymoonisrael.org and plan to arrive 20-30 minutes early to take a test that we’ll provide on site. If you’re not feeling well, we ask that you please stay home.
IKAR and HMI require proof of vaccination for everyone over 12 and can be submitted to losangeles@honeymoonisrael.org. Masks are encouraged but not required.
