HMI Chicago: Whether you are currently building an interfaith/multi-faith family, or you and your partner have dreams of doing so in the future, there can be a lot of question marks about how to “do it right.” Guess what? There’s no such thing as “right.” Every couple must decide for themselves how to incorporate traditions and rituals from both sides, how to navigate pressures from family members, and a ton of other questions!
Join HMI Chicago and 18Doors for an evening of conversation, troubleshooting, and story-telling about the realities of raising children in an interfaith/multi-faith home. You’ll hear from a panel of wise HMI Chicago alumni who are currently raising their children in a variety of traditions, meet other HMI alumni who are in the same boat as you, and enjoy an open, accessible space where questions are just as important as answers.
Oh, and because this event is over the Jewish holiday of Sukkot AND Shabbat, we’ll also enjoy some sweet ritual moments to mark the occasion. Dinner, drinks, and awesome swag will be included!
