The Jewish High Holidays will be here before you know it! Whether it’s your first time celebrating any of these important holidays or you’re looking for a new way to bring meaning to the holiday season this year, HMI SF Bay Area is here for you.

Join HMI and Rabbi Chayva Lehrman from Am Tikvah and Rabbi Batshir Torchio from JCCSF to chat about rituals, traditions, and anything else you’re curious about when it comes to the High Holidays.

Perfect those challah braiding skills and learn about the MANY holiday traditions with Rabbi Mark Bloom! WHY round challah? WHY apples and honey? WHY fasting? It will all be covered! We’ll also participate in a service project making snack bags and first aid kits for local shelters. Please bring nut free snacks to donate!
