HMI at Home began as our virtual programming initiative to keep us all connected throughout the pandemic. Now, HMI at Home is so much more than virtual events. It encompasses incredible opportunities for meaningful connection that happen online and in person in your city! From Shabbat to holidays to challah baking, the HMI community is here for you.

HMI Chicago: Ask the Rabbi: Interfaith Couples Edition
September 15 @ 7:30 pm - 10:30 pm EDT
Have you ever had questions and thought to yourself, “I really wish I could ask this to a rabbi over a beer?” Or have you and your partner been wondering about one sticky question in your relationship and wanted to get the perspective of a rabbi? Then you’re in luck! Join Rabbi Todd Zinn, 18Doors Rukin Rabbinc Fellow and Director of Jewish Journeys and Enrichment for Honeymoon Israel, along with 18Doors Chicago Community Director Tani Prell for a casual night of asking the rabbi any question you’ve ever had about anything.
Interfaith couples are invited to ask Rabbi Todd any questions they’ve ever had about Judaism, being in an interfaith relationship, and anything under the sun over drinks and appetizers at a bar in Lakeview. We’ll gather casually, get to know one another, and open the floor for questions.
Questions? Don’t hesitate to reach out to Tani at firstname.lastname@example.org!
We take everyone’s health, safety, and comfort seriously. All adult event participants must be fully vaccinated and boosted. Please see the registration page for more details.
