HMI Chicago: Purim Party for Families with Kids (Virtual)

Do your kids like cookies? Do they like dressing up in silly costumes? Do they like singing, dancing, and hearing amazing stories? Join HMI Chicago for a rowdy, messy, and joyful Purim celebration led by THREE wildly talented HMI Chicago alumni!
Together, we will:
- Bake yummy hamantaschen (triangular filled-pocket pastry) with Dylan Maysick, HMI Chicago Cohort 5 alum and Diaspora Dinners chef
- Learn about the Jewish holiday of Purim, sing, and dance with live music by Jewish children’s educator, Amy Schaeffer, HMI Chicago Cohort 5 alum
- Enjoy a live reading of My Happy Hamantaschen by Jewish children’s author, Arianna Brooks, HMI Chicago Cohort 4 alum
- Get ready to get down, ancient Persian style, with a generous sprinkle of HMI magic! This event has something for children of all ages and will be super interactive.
