HMI is more than a trip, it’s about the journey. And your Jewish journey continues at home – whether in your community, with your HMI cohort, or at home with your partner. From Shabbat to other Jewish holidays, life-stage based programs and neighborhood meet-ups, our programs help you explore Jewish life with your Honeymoon Israel family. Don’t see a program in your city? Reach out to your local city staff for help finding what you need.

HMI Washington DC: Marking October 7th: An Evening of Remembrance, Resilience, and Hope for a Brighter Future

October 7 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm EDT

Marking October 7th: An Evening of Remembrance, Resilience, and Hope for a Brighter Future

Monday, October 7 at 7:00 pm

The Anthem (901 Wharf Street SW)

This October 7th, join thousands from across the Greater Washington Jewish community, hosted by The Jewish Federation, HMI, JCRC, and Washington Board of Rabbis, to commemorate one year since the horrific attacks in Israel that changed our world forever. Remember the lives lost, pray for those still in captivity, honor the survivors, and unite in our communal resilience.

HMI alumni are invited to meet up prior to the event for cocktails and conversation at 5:00 pm. Please email Naomi Stanway at naomi.stanway@honeymoonisrael.org to RSVP and learn where to meet.
