Emily Achler is HMI Chicago’s Director of Community Engagement!
Believe it or not, we have another new team member for you to meet for today’s #MeetTheTeamMonday! Today, meet Emily Achler from #HMIChicago! “Judaism is an ancient tradition and at the same time a living, breathing, evolving culture. It’s a joy to be a part of an organization that is actively opening doors and creating new communities for people to connect and engage with our tradition and history.”
Emily has been to Israel 3 times, and she can’t wait to lead her first trip as Chicago’s new Director of Community Engagement later this week! Emily’s favorite type of food to eat in Israel is Druze cuisine including stuffed grape leaves, hummus, and tabbouleh salad, and her favorite spot to visit is Haifa. When people ask her where they should go in Israel, Emily always recommends a visit to a kibbutz, a collective community settlement unique to Israel.
