Jewish Birth Prep Workshop

Getting ready for a birth? Know someone who is? Join Jewish Baby Network and Honeymoon Israel for our Birth Preparation Workshop!
New and expectant parents will have an opportunity to learn about rituals during pregnancy, labor and delivery, choosing a Hebrew name, circumcision/bris, naming and welcoming ceremonies, Jewish perspectives on parenting and more.
We will include information about how the current pandemic may affect your birth and welcoming ceremony experiences.
This class will be co-taught by JBN Director Carol Booth, MAEd, JBN Manager and doula Jennifer Altman, Sherith Israel Executive Director Gordon Gladstone, Congregation Beth Am Rabbi Jonathan Prosnit, and Monica Kuniyoshi.
