SUMMARY:HMI LA: Navigating Grief and Loss Together
DESCRIPTION:HMI LA: Navigating Grief and Loss Together\nThursday\, April 23\, 6:30 pm PT\nExact location will be shared with registrants prior to event. \n\nHMI invites you to an intimate evening of connection\, reflection\, and nourishment for couples navigating loss and transition. In a warm setting\, we’ll share stories\, engage in gentle guided prompts\, and create space to feel supported in community. \nThis gathering is open to all HMI alumni and community members navigating loss in any form. Bring your partner\, come solo\, or invite a friend. All are welcome. \nMeet Your Facilitators: \n\nSarah Gwilliam\, Certified Grief Coach\nSarah Gwilliam is the founder of Solace\, a platform offering accessible grief support through guided conversation and reflection\, and the co-founder and facilitator of Together in Grief\, a workshop series designed to create space for people to gather and be witnessed in what they’re carrying. A certified grief coach\, her work focuses on supporting individuals through the many forms grief can take\, from loss of loved ones to identity shifts\, caregiving\, and collective grief. \nA three-time Honeymoon Israel alumna\, Sarah traveled with her then fiancé with HMI New York in 2016 and later served as a trip leader for HMI New York (2018) and San Francisco (2019). She brings a lens shaped by Jewish approaches to memory\, mourning\, and community\, while honoring the interfaith nature of the HMI experience. Sarah is committed to bringing grief into the open and giving others permission to do the same. \n  \nRebecca Silver Fisher\, Executive Coach \nRebecca Silver Fisher is a nonprofit leader\, strategist\, and trained executive coach who partners with mission-driven organizations and leaders navigating growth\, change\, and complexity. Today\, alongside her executive leadership work\, she coaches leaders and teams to strengthen clarity\, confidence\, alignment\, and impact during pivotal moments of organizational and personal transition. \nRebecca’s coaching and facilitation practice also focuses on supporting individuals and teams as they move through grief\, loss\, identity shifts\, leadership transitions\, and other “in-between” seasons of life. She is a proud Honeymoon Israel alum (2016) and is honored to return as a facilitator to help create space for community members to reflect together\, deepen connection\, and continue shaping meaningful Jewish life in ways that feel authentic and sustaining. \nPlease note: This gathering is not a substitute for therapy. It is a facilitated community space for reflection\, connection\, and shared humanity. \n  \nREGISTER
