HMI is more than a trip, it’s about the journey. And your Jewish journey continues at home – whether in your community, with your HMI cohort, or at home with your partner. From Shabbat to other Jewish holidays, life-stage based programs and neighborhood meet-ups, our programs help you explore Jewish life with your Honeymoon Israel family. Don’t see a program in your city? Reach out to your local city staff for help finding what you need.

HMI NYC: Navigating Grief and Loss Together
Thursday, April 23 7:00 pm ET
Exact location will be shared with registrants prior to event.

HMI invites you to an intimate evening of connection, reflection, and nourishment for couples navigating loss and transition. In a warm, home setting hosted by HMI alum and trip leader Revi Enriquez Cohen, we’ll share stories, engage in gentle guided prompts, and create space to feel supported in community.

This gathering is open to all HMI alumni and community members navigating loss in any form. Bring your partner, come solo, or invite a friend. All are welcome.

Meet Your Facilitator: Chloe Nassau, MSW, Certified Grief Educator

Chloe is a community builder, grief educator, and former HMI staff member who believes in the power of gathering around life’s meaningful moments. As the founder of the Shiva Circle project, she has helped hundreds of people find language, ritual, and support around loss and transition. She brings warmth, curiosity, and humor to every space, and hopes you’ll leave feeling seen, supported, and more connected.

Please note: This gathering is not a substitute for therapy. It is a facilitated community space for reflection, connection, and shared humanity.
